{"id":7054,"date":"2019-12-17T13:41:46","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T12:41:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clementicompany.com\/pomegranate-meringue-tart-recipe\/"},"modified":"2024-11-20T10:35:25","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T09:35:25","slug":"pomegranate-meringue-tart-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clementicompany.com\/en\/pomegranate-meringue-tart-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Pomegranate Meringue Tart Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n<p>A fresh, fragrant and light tart.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clementicompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/crostata_meringata_con_il_melograno.jpg\" alt=\"meringue_tart_with_the_ pomegranate\"\/><\/figure>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>In collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/alesslepri\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>food blogger Lepri,<\/strong><\/a> we&#8217;ll discover how to make a magnificent recipe suitable for all parties.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">&#13;\n<li><strong>Difficulty<\/strong>: Medium<\/li>&#13;\n<li><strong>Preparation<\/strong>: 30 minutes<\/li>&#13;\n<li><strong>Cooking<\/strong> time: 35 minutes<\/li>&#13;\n<li><strong>Portions<\/strong>: 5 to 6 people<\/li>&#13;\n<li><strong>Cost<\/strong>: low<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS FOR POMEGRANATE CREAM<\/strong><\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">&#13;\n<li>Pomegranate juice 400 ml<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Water 100 ml<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Lemon juice 59 ml<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Sugar 200 g<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Maizena 50 g  <\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS FOR THE SHORTCRUST PASTRY BASE<\/strong><\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">&#13;\n<li>Flour 300 g<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Butter 120 g<\/li>&#13;\n<li>2 Eggs  <\/li>&#13;\n<li>Icing sugar 100g<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Baking powder 1\/2 teaspoon<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Grated peel of 1 lemon<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS FOR THE MERINGUE<\/strong><\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">&#13;\n<li>3 Egg whites<\/li>&#13;\n<li>7 tablespoons of powdered sugar<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>PREPARATION:<\/strong><\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>1) <\/strong>First we prepare the shortcrust pastry. <br\/>After letting our dough rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour, <strong>we roll out a sheet of dough and place it in the tart mold<\/strong>. <br\/>The mold should either be buttered or lined with baking paper. In the preparation, <strong>it is important to make a nice high edge<\/strong>, because then it will have to contain the cream. <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> <strong>We prick the resulting pastry<\/strong> with a fork and bake in our <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clementicompany.com\/elite-classica-13-kw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Elite wood-burning stove<\/a><\/em> at 160\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> <strong>Preparing the pomegranate cream<\/strong>: <br\/>We shell all the pomegranate kernels, collect the grains and then squeeze them by passing them through a hand-cranked masher.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> We mix the cornstarch (maizena) with the water. Add the sugar, lemon juice and pomegranate juice.   <br\/><strong>We put the pomegranate cream in a saucepan and thicken it on a stove over gentle heat<\/strong>, stirring constantly with a whisk.
